Status
This is a published draft webpage intended to show the structure and expectations of ORION’s work. The authoritative version is this page.
Purpose
This framework describes how ORION governs a Review and Report engagement: how decisions are made, how evidence is handled, how risks are surfaced, and how both parties keep the work within agreed boundaries.
Principles
- Clarity over theatre. Simple structures, visible responsibilities, and written records where they matter.
- Client agency. You remain the decision-maker for your organisation. ORION’s role is to review, explain, and propose.
- Minimisation. Only the information needed to do the work is requested and retained.
- Bounded work. Scope is defined, and changes are handled explicitly.
Roles
- Client Sponsor: accountable owner of the engagement and approver of scope.
- Client Point of Contact: day-to-day coordination, scheduling, and document access.
- ORION Lead: accountable for delivery, quality, and keeping the work within boundaries.
- Contributors: people interviewed or providing material; participation is time-bounded and purposeful.
Decision rights
- Client approves: scope, timing, access, and any material changes.
- ORION decides: methods used to gather and organise evidence (within scope), and how findings are presented.
- Shared decisions: escalation thresholds, confidentiality constraints, and any constraints on onward distribution of outputs.
Cadence
- Kick-off: scope, access, risks, and what “done” means.
- Working check-ins: short, time-bounded, focused on evidence gaps and emerging risks.
- Draft review: factual accuracy check and clarification of misread context.
- Delivery: report issued with an agreed clarification window (see pricing section on the homepage).
Evidence handling
- Information is requested with a stated purpose.
- Notes are minimised and summarised where possible.
- Outputs avoid unnecessary personal data.
- Confidentiality and privacy handling is described on the website’s legal page.
Risk and escalation
- Issues are raised early, in writing where appropriate.
- Escalation is to the Client Sponsor and ORION Lead by default.
- If safeguarding, legality, or safety concerns arise, ORION will pause and seek explicit instruction.
Commercials
Pricing and the availability of additional Clarification Reports are set out on the homepage pricing section. This framework does not override that wording.
